Album Covers

As you probably know, I love music. Music knowledge is really my spiritual gift. So I have decided to combine that love with my love of funny pictures and this blog. The result? Funny album covers! I have been searching far and wide for the best/worse album covers of all time. I ended up finding so many that I think I'm going to turn this into a blog series instead of one post. So, we'll get started with a couple favorites for today.

Ok, for our first cover we have Big Bear. He is a rapper and likes bears. He likes to smoke with them and eat fruit with them.

Next we have Cody Matherson. He would like to borrow a feelin. I can only assume that he sold 4 copies of this record. His mom bought one, his girlfriend bought one because she likes his moustache, and he bought the other 2. You can just tell by looking at him that his music is awful. I do respect the stache and sleeveless shirt though.

Finally we have Anna Russell. This one is amazing I think. The craziest thing is that she is signed by Columbia, which is a major record label. That means that thousands of these were made and that Anna Russell actually has fans. Someone at a major music corporation thought this was a good idea, and so they had this record made and produced, and nobody along the way stopped and thought to disagree that this album was a good idea. Amazing.

We're Back!

Ok, it's been a long summer. 3 weeks at Saranac Lake in upstate NY. Then another week at Cranberry Lake with Jen's family. All that followed by Young Life camp, a week at the beach with the wife, and Pat's wedding. Now finally I am home for good. If there's been one constant this summer while I've been gone, it's been complaints that I haven't updated the blog. I am sorry! Let's get things going again with an awesome youtube video. Make sure you watch the whole thing. It will change your life.

Rain and Africa

Don't miss how the guy who does the beat boxing acutally plays the air drums while performing said beatbox. Classic.
